About Us

  Mission Statement

The Mission of Tri-State Evangelistic Association (TEA) is:

  • To promote 'Biblical Christian Evangelism' in the Tri-State area (DE, MD, PA).

  • To unite 'Bible Believing' Churches and individuals in a consorted 'Gospel labor'.

  Statement of Purpose

Tri-State Evangelistic Association is a non-profit Corporation organized for the purpose of promoting ‘Biblical Christian Evangelism’ in the Tri-State area1.  It is not a ‘Para-Church Organization’, in the particular sense; but an Association of ‘Evangelistic Christians’ and ‘Church Evangelism Teams’.

Our promotion of ‘Biblical Christian Evangelism’ is carried out through means including, but not limited to:

  • Outreaches – Literature Distribution, One-to-one Evangelism, and Open Air Evangelism

  • Training – Seminars, On-the-job Training, ‘Intensive Training’ Camps, and Educative Resources

  • Networking – Message Board, Calendar of Events, Cooperative/Joint Outreach Events

  • Referral – Direction of new converts, and ‘unsettled’ Christians, to solid ‘Bible Believing’ Churches

Our evangelistic methods are, primarily, those which are taught by the Way Of The Master2 and Living Waters3 ministries.  In keeping with these teachings, we emphasize the ‘Law Before Grace’ approach to evangelism.

1. This area includes, but is not limited to: New Castle County, DE; Cecil County, MD; Chester County, Pa; and Delaware County, Pa.

  Statement of Faith

  • We believe The Scriptures (both Old and New Testaments) to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God 1; the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men 2; and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life 3.

  • We believe in one God 4; Creator of all things5; infinitely perfect 6; and eternally existing in three persons (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) 7.

  • We believe in the deity of Christ (true God, and true man) 8; His virgin birth9; His sinless life10; His miracles11; His vicarious and atoning death12; His bodily resurrection13; His ascension to the right hand of God the Father14; and His personal return to earth in power and glory15.

  • We believe in the ‘fall of man’16; the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature17; and in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation18;

  • We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and His Resurrection, provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe 19; and only such as submit to Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and, thus are called the children of God 20.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit; that of bringing glory to the Lord Jesus Christ 21; convicting men of sin 22; regenerating 23; indwelling, guiding, instructing and empowering them for godly living and service 24.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead 25; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord 26; of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment 27.

  • We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who have been saved by grace,  through faith alone in Jesus Christ; have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit; and are united together in the Body of  Christ, of which He is the Head 28.

  • We believe in the spiritual unity, found among the followers our Lord Jesus Christ; and that His followers are to be examples of the God’s love in this world. It is this (agape) love that we are called upon to demonstrate, without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians 29.

  • We believe that it is a mandate for the Church to go into all the world and to preach the Gospel to all of mankind 30
